AirSense Technology is a market leader in the manufacture of Aspirating Smoke Detection systems, with a total of more than 193 man years experience in this field of fire protection. We probably have more accumulated experience in this specialised field than any other manufacturer. The company is based in Hertfordshire, England where we have extensive research and development facilities working to ISO 9000. Currently all manufacturing is done in the UK.

The Stratos-HSSD® range of products are suitable for the detection of incipient fires in a wide range of environments. They are particularly well suited for the protection of EDP (computer) equipment in high air-flows, and other 'difficult to protect' environments. Stratos-HSSD® may be configured to be so sensitive that it can actually detect a slowly building fire before any damage occurs, but it is also virtually impossible to have a nuisance alarm. This is because the system uses a patented form of 'Artificial Intelligence', unique in a fire alarm product, called ClassiFire this guarantees that the system maintains a maximum SAFE sensitivity.
