The Universal terminal interface board plugs into the terminal
board. Up to four boards plug into a master Stratos-HSSD or Stratos-Quadra,
one board per detector. The board provides normally open (NO) and normally closed
(NC) contacts are available for each alarm level and for the fault relay.
A 24 Volt output is available on the board, rated at 0.5 Amps, that can used
to drive sounders or beacons.
Note that the fault relay is normally energised so the NC (normally closed relay) is actually normally open and closes on fault.
All Stratos detectors are delivered with these boards fitted as standard unless Apollo interface cards are ordered. If an Apollo interface card is to be used it replaces this board.
